❓Intralogistics is the focus of the LogiMAT trade fair. Why is CargoSoft taking part?
🗣️We not only develop software for freight forwarders, but our customers also include industry and trade. We have smart solutions for them to better organize inbound and outbound logistics.

❓LogiMAT – that’s warehouse logistics at its best. Which processes do you mean specifically?
🗣️Warehouse logistics is not our main focus. We take care of all processes in the supply chain that occur before or after storage. Our main focus is on managing international transportation processes. For the associated air and sea freight, we have integrated solutions to network with freight forwarders and transport service providers. This gives them transparency about the supply chain that lies outside their internal processes.

❓“Integrated solutions” – that sounds like more possibilities. What does it mean?
🗣️On the customer side, the focus is on connecting to the SAP LBN / SAP HANA system via standardized interfaces. For lean transport processes, there are optional connections to tracking service providers, ports, transport companies and freight forwarders. We particularly recommend the integration of our customs solution from DAKOSY.

❓Does CargoSoft develop all the “features” itself?
🗣️No. Our focus is on the development of SCM and TMS software as well as professional interfaces. For everything that goes beyond this, we pursue a “best of breed” strategy. We integrate industry standards such as project44 (status information/advised arrival times/ transit times) or DAKOSY, the market leader in the customs sector. Of course, this also applies to our customers’ own solutions. We can also dock these systems seamlessly.
