IT System Administrator / Software Deployment (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Operation and Monitoring of IT Systems and Servers
• Point of contact for updates, upgrades, and migrations of our software modules
• Implementing rollouts for key account customers
• Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers
• Analyzing and resolving IT operational issues (second- and third-level support)
• Ensuring timely installation and integration, as well as customer acceptance and explaining technical issues when problems arise
• Ensuring the traceability of activities through the use of designated Atlassian systems (Jira and Confluence)
• Processing and tracking customer orders and ensuring efficient processes within the area of responsibility
• Providing technical support to all departments involved in the project and participating in meetings with clients
• Receiving, processing, and coordinating technical issues and inquiries
• Contributing to the further development of the IT infrastructure

What you bring along

• A completed degree or vocational training in the IT field, e.g., in computer science or business informatics, with professional experience in system administration
• Experience in administering Windows and Linux servers, server virtualization (Proxmox, VMware, etc.), and databases (MySQL/MariaDB; Informix is also a plus).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as scripting (BASH, PowerShell), automation (Ansible), and M365 would be desirable.
• Basic knowledge of networks and firewalls (Sophos, WatchGuard, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a strong service and customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to make decisions and take on the associated responsibility
• Willingness to work on weekends, at night, and on holidays
