Airfreight export | AWB transfer in CargoSoft TMS

Implementation of the requirements of US Customs (ACAS)
In the new TMS dialog window “eAWB Customs Data” you will find all the important eAWB customs fields that are required for ACAS (but also for China and other countries):

  • Contact person (including telephone number, e-mail) and company code
for the addresses Shipper, Consignee and Notify
  • The new customer account information for ACAS
The data is pre-assigned¹ and can therefore be changed directly in the order.

In addition to the data required by ACAS, we have included the previous contact person data and the company code in the new TMS dialog window. The e-mail address is a new entry that is also required by ACAS. Previously, the data was only printed from the TMS address master data in the AWB and transferred to the airline.
The new customer account fields include:
  • Holder - New drop-down menu allows you to choose between “Shipper” or “Consignee”.
  • Customer Account Number - CargoSoft automatically populates the CargoSoft address number (e.g. D4711 or G0815). The number will be pre-populated for either the “Shipper” or “Consignee” based on your selection in the “Customer Account Holder” field.
  • Issuer - New text field allows you to enter the “Issuer” directly
  • Establishment Date - Pre-assignment is made from the establishment date of the address

You can see further fields and corresponding default values in this screenshot.

Here are some screenshots from the application:
